Lightning Fall In Winnipeg For Second Straight Loss

The Winnipeg Jets (25-13-1) defeated Tampa Bay Lightning (24-13-1) 4-2 on Friday evening in Manitoba.

Kyle Connor set the pace for the Jets, getting a goal and an assist. Tampa Bay got goals from Anthony Cireli in the first and Nikita Kucherov early in the second to take a 2-1 lead. The Jets scored the next three unanswered goals to secure a 4-2 win.

Andrei Vasilevskiy got the start in net after missing Wednesday's game due to an illness. He made 16 saves on 19 shots on goal in the losing effort.

The Lightning now return home for the next two games at Amalie Arena. They host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday - puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
