The USF Bulls (1-10, 0-7) fell to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (4-7, 2-5) 48-42 on a frigid Friday night in Tulsa.
Freshman Byrum Brown got the start at quarterback for USF, and had an impressive debut. He went 21-for-25 with 240 yards and three touchdowns passing. He ran for another 76 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
USF took early leads of 10-0 and 13-7 before Tulsa took control of the game in the second quarter, taking a 31-20 lead over the Bulls into halftime. USF scored two third quarter touchdowns to pull within 38-35, but Tulsa got ten fourth quarter points to secure a 48-42 win.
The USF Bulls will now wrap up the 2022 regular season when they host #17 UCF on Saturday November 26th.
