We discussed the scenario on the P & A show and it was actually playing out! The Chargers and Raiders tying on Sunday night would have sent both teams to the playoffs. The Raiders had a chance to run the clock out in OT for a tie and playoff berth. That's when the craziness began! The Chargers called an unnecessary timeout on defense which allowed the Raiders to take time, come up with a run play to put them in field goal range. They kicked the field goal and the rest is history.
