The Florida Gators (4-2, 2-2) defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores (2-4, 0-2) 42-0 on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville.
Emory Jones had a career day, going 14-for-22 with 273 yards and four touchdowns, while throwing one interception. The Gators built a 21-0 halftime lead, while Vanderbilt missed their opportunities to make this a more competitive game. The Commodores missed three field goals - two in the first half - as the Gators secured a shutout win.
Florida next travels to Baton Rouge to play LSU next Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 PM on October 16th.
