It would be wonderful if this was a single, drunken incident that Sherman and his family can look back at as a blip on the radar for what his wife calls a loving and caring father and husband, but his wife's claims that he was texting people that he was going to commit suicide point to something much deeper. Hopefully Richard can get the help he needs and he doesn't deal with severe mental health issues the way we've unfortunately seen so many football players and former players go through.
