Comedian Charlie Berens Takes Over The Packers Radio Booth (Sort Of)

The Green Bay Packers are the top seed in the NFC for a number of reasons. Outstanding quarterback play by the likely MVP of the league in Aaron Rodgers, a stifling defense, a weak division (yeah, I said it). But what makes Green Bay Packers football truly special is the legendary voice of the Green Bay Packers Wayne Larrivee who has been calling Packers games on the radio in Wisconsin since 1999 after a 13 year career calling the rival Chicago Bears radio broadcasts. So to spice things up as the Packers took on the Bears in the season finale, the Packers radio network decided to call an audible of their own and brought in comedian Charlie Berens to fill in for a game.

Here's the official behind the scenes footage of how it went

Maybe a future for Charlie after all in the booth!
