The sixth ranked Florida Gators (8-1, 8-1) knocked off the Tennessee Volunteers (2-6, 2-6) 31-19 on Saturday afternoon in Knoxville.
Kyle Trask threw for 433 yards and four touchdows to lead the way for the Gators - Kyle Pitts was the leading receiver in the game with 128 yards receiving. Kadarius Toney also had a tremendous game, grabbing 108 yards and a touchdown in the air.
After Tennessee scored early in the second quarter to take a 7-3lead, the Gators began to take control of the game with two touchdowns to go into halftime with a 17-7 lead. In the second half the Gators scored two more touchdowns to build a 31-7 lead - though Tennessee scored two touchdowns late, 31-19 would be as close as the Volunteers would get.
