USF Bulls Fall To Houston 56-21

Tough in the office for USF Saturday Afternoon as the Bulls couldn’t put things together in three quarters in a 56-21 homecoming loss to ECU on Saturday night in Houston. Even though both teams had some unavailable players, which seem to have a bigger effect on the Bulls, including some big time players like Johnny Ford and Noah Johnson.

Jordan McCloud Completed 14 Passes for 180 yards and on the night for USF. In the absence of Ford The Tampa Native also got acquainted with his freshmen running back Brian Battie, who took 13 carries for 89 yards to lead all running backs. McCloud also finds Omarion Dollison for a 2 yard touchdown and 83 yard scoring drive for the Bulls that helped cut their deficits to 42-13.

Houston opened the game and three Plays and 75 yards later, touchdown, which seem to set the tone for the game and USF did not have a response. Houston gathered a whopping 319 yards on the ground and 186 passing yards that converted to three touchdowns.

Clayton Tune seem to have a stellar performance in Saturday's game completing 14 Passes for 165 yards that turned into three touchdowns. Tune also led the Cougars in rushing yards with a 10 carries 120 yards and converted into two touchdowns.

The Bulls scored 21 straight points in the second half before quarterback Clayton Tune (Houston) responded for Cougars with a 6-yard touchdown pass with 5:35 seconds remaining in the game. Then another touchdown with a 14-yard run from James Fullbright III to end the game. (Kyle Ramsey KICK).
