Hall of Fame center and former Lightning captain Dave Andreychuk has played in some long hockey games, but nothing quite like the five overtime marathon the Bolts undertook Tuesday, defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series.
"I've been in triple overtime games," Andreychuk told Pat and Aaron Tuesday. "I've been in a few of those."
Dave told the goons about what it's like trying to recover when you've played two full hockey games or more, and how important it was to come out of Tuesday's game with a victory.
