The Tampa Bay Rays used their first selection in the 2020 MLB Draft to add a young arm to their franchise.
The Rays used the 24th overall pick Wednesday to take Central Bucks High School (PA) pitcher Nick Bitsko.
Bitsko, who was originally one of the top prep arms for the 2021 class, reclassified to graduate this season. The 17-year-old right-hander stands 6'4" and weighs 235 pounds, and hit 97 MPH on his fastball.
