Rays Radio broadcaster Dave Wills is definitely ready for baseball to return.
Wills joined Pat and Aaron Monday to discuss the Rays Rewind aiting tonight on WDAE, as the Rays spoiled the San Francisco Giants' home opener last year thanks to back-to-back homers by Yandy Diaz and Kevin Kiermaier. Dave discussed how Kiermaier may have as much power from the left side as any of Tampa Bay's hitters, but he feels that when the Gold Glove center fielder is "hacking and slashing," hitting line drives into the opposite-field gap, and not trying to pull the baseball, he's at his most effective.
Dave also gave us his thoughts on whether pitchers or hitters will benefit more from an abbreviated season, and how his close friends are helping those in need during the pandemic.
