Pierre-Paul Would Love To Be Back With Bucs Next Year

Buccaneers linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul may not have played his first snap this season until week eight but he already knows where he'd like to play next season.

Because of his auto accident in May, Pierre-Paul spent his off-season, the team's pre-season & the first six weeks of the regular season rehabbing a neck injury. The injury had some thinking the 10 year veteran would not play football ever again. But Pierre-Paul recovered from his neck injury plus spent the team's bye week working out while most of his teammates were away from the team's facility. And following the bye week, he appeared in his first game of the season in Tennessee against the Titans, making an immediate impact by recording a sack in his first series on the field.

Three days before the team takes on the Falcons in Atlanta, Pierre-Paul spoke with the media, discussing his road to getting back on the football field. And while Pierre-Paul will be a free agent at the end of this season, he's already expressed his desire to stay in Tampa Bay, a place he's very familiar with because of his playing days at the University of South Florida.
