#9 Gators Rally To 38-27 Win At South Carolina

The 9th ranked Florida Gators (7-1, 4-1) bounced back from their first loss of the season, coming through with a fourth quarter comeback to get a 38-27 win on the road at South Carolina (3-4, 2-3).

Kyle Trask was the key for the Gators - the backup quarterback continued his successful play for the Gators, throwing for a career high four touchdowns, three of them in the fourth quarter. The redshirt junior who continues to play in the absence of starter Felepie Franks has led the Gators to their best start since 2015,

The Gators outscored South Carolina 21-7 in the final quarter, in spite of the Gamecocks beating the Gators in the ground game. South Carolina outgained Florida 217-154, thanks in large part to Clemson transfer Tavien Feaster, who ran for 175 yards in the losing effort for South Carolina.

The Gators are now off next week before hosting a top-ten showdown in Gainesville on November 2nd. The 10th ranked Georgia Bulldogs, who got a 21-0 shutout win in their own right on Saturday, will head to Florida to battle the Gators - kickoff on November 2nd is set for 3:30 PM.
