Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians meti with media on Saturday, one day after the team beat the Browns 13-12 at Raymond James Stadium. The coach watched the game film & shared his thoughts on the team's performance. Arians stated the defense continues to buy into the system & it's showing up in games.
Arians also singled out the performance of certain players including defensive backs Carlton Davis III & M.J. Stewart, two players who are in their second season. Coach also pointed out that defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches is making an impact defensively. With the shoulder injury to backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert's non-throwing arm, Arians also discussed that the team would likely sign a quarterback to assist in taking practice reps & game snaps on Thursday when the team plays its last preseason game in Dallas.
