As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare to play their third preseason game against the Cleveland Browns on Friday night at Raymond James Stadium, the question remains how much will the starters play. But that question doesn't apply to just the Buccaneers. First year Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens, who was a part of Bucs head coach Bruce Arians' staff in Arizona, has been non-committal on how long his starters will play against his former boss.
Arians informed the media earlier in the week, barring the need to rest a player because of an injury, the team's starters on offense & defense will play on Friday. And that means linebacker Devin White will start in another preseason game. But unlike the first two preseason games, if Kitchens plays all of his offensive starters, the Bucs rookie linebacker could be looking across the line of scrimmage at two players he openly admires, wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr & Jarvis Landry.
White met with the media on Tuesday after the team's practice & expressed how much he looked up to the Browns wide out duo, who like White payed their college football at LSU.
