Much was made when defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh announced that he would wear number 93, the number worn for 10 seasons by former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive lineman Gerald McCoy. But whatever conversation that stemmed from Suh's decision to wear number 93 has gone away. And it's mainly because the focus has turned to what Suh can provide to the team's defense.
Suh met with the media on Wednesday prior to the team's practice & among things he discussed how his versatility in defensive coordinator Todd Bowles' system could help him have a productive season.
Suh, along with his fellow linemates' versatility may be tested if starting defensive lineman Vita Vea's knee injury, which he suffered in Tuesday's practice during one on one drills, proves to be significant.
