(via Tampa Bay Buccaneers Communications) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has agreed to terms with outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett.
Barrett (6-2, 250) comes to Tampa Bay after five seasons with the Denver Broncos (2014-18). In his career, Barrett has played in 61 regular season games, with 15 starts, recording 134 tackles (25 for loss), 14.0 sacks, seven passes defensed, six forced fumbles and three rumble recoveries. Barrett also played in three postseason games with the Broncos as part of the team that won Super Bowl 50.
Barrett played collegiately at Colorado State, where he was named Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.
