PORT CHARLOTTE (WDAE) -- Saturday's game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins was cancelled due to inclement weather, but the team made another round of cuts after the game was ended.
The Rays optioned RHP Austin Pruitt to Triple-A Durham, and reassigned RHP's Mike Franco, Ricardo Pinto, and Luis Santos, LHP's Ryan Merritt and Colin Poche, C Anthony Bemboom, and INF's Mike Brosseau and Nate Lowe.
The big league camp roster now sits at 40 players.
